MILL SPRINGS AREA

You can tie your boat up at the dock on the lake and make the short climb to the mill (has a large overshot water wheel that is still operational and definitely worth the photo), climb a little further and see the Gift Shop (ran by the local Woman's Club). From there, you can climb the steps to see the Brown Lanier House, an old Civil War house. And then from there, if you're hungry, you can cross the road and grab some BBQ from Dunagan's General Store. This is a must stop by car or boat!
